Anique Hardt is a Long Island based floral designer, trained in Manhattan. She first found her love for floral design while studying at the New York Botanical Garden. After working with one of the biggest flower shops in New York City she found herself being pulled back to her hometown, Port Jefferson. Hardts and Flowers is where Anique Hardt planted her dreams, and is currently watching them bloom before her eyes.
Constantly looking to challenge herself and learn new techniques and skills, Anique traveled to Pasadena California in 2015 where she was a head floral designer on the Honda Float in in the 2016 rose parade, and a contributing floral designer to many other floats.
Anique Hardt works to be as green a floral designer as possible. As part of her efforts to keep the environment as beautiful as her arrangements she keeps waste at a minimum, recycling all paper and glassware, as well as composting any organic material in her own back yard.
She also enjoys putting her creativity to the test, repurposing anything from vintage tea cups, to salvaged wood creating whimsical pieces of floral art.
